INDIGENOUS
ATHLETES

Promoting, empowering, and supporting Indigenous Athletes from coast to coast to coast from all over Turtle Island.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.

Athletes Through Hockey is an Indigenous-led initiative dedicated to empowering, supporting, and promoting Indigenous hockey players across all stages of their athletic journey in sanctioned hockey leagues. This program empowers Indigenous athletes not only through promoting, but also by helping them share their stories, achievements, and talents with a broader audience.

We promote mainstream hockey for all Indigenous Athletes from all hockey-sanctioned leagues in North America.

Increase Participation

Support Holistic Well-being

Strengthen Cultural Identity

Promote Indigenous athletes through media features, highlight reels, social media spotlights, and community recognition of all Indigenous hockey players at regional, national, and elite levels of hockey.

By providing well-being resources, mentorship, and culturally grounded practices. We collaborate with individuals and organizations from all areas to bring the best resources for Indigenous Athletes.

When we promote and empower Indigenous athletes through our platforms, it's essential to acknowledge the Indigenous nation from which the athlete is registered, thereby bringing pride to both the athlete and their Indigenous community.
